Hitori
Shade duplicates. Keep whites connected. No two blacks touch.
▶ Play HitoriAbout
Classic Hitori on a 6×6 numbered grid. Shade cells black so that each value appears at most once per row and per column among the remaining white cells. No two black cells may share an edge, and all white cells must form one orthogonally-connected region. Unique solution verified at generation; lower tiers require no guessing.
How to play
Arrow keys or HJKL move the cursor. Press Space to toggle shading at the cursor (white ↔ black). Press X to clear shading. Solve when each value appears at most once per row and column among white cells, no two black cells are adjacent, and all white cells form one connected region.
